Adam- Thanks for that I'll give it a good read tomorrow. It would seem more probable that the production of fullerenes is top down due to the difficulties in graphene sheet production and joining because the of the outer atoms, on the sheets, bonding configuration. It's been a long time since I looked at all the more upto date research and practicle uses but I will.

I still see no reason why the exsistance of organic chemistry can in any way give any validity to the exsistance of something else, the exsistance of God can easily be proved by God's own willingness to or neccessity to demonstrate that he is real. The longer he choses to not step up and defend himself and his own actions the greater the number of the human race will ignore his silence, if you can ignore silence. Isuppose some interlectuals managed it for 4'33" and then proclaimed it to be geniuse.

Hi Sam, I qualified as a mineral engineer which as you can probably imagine involved a large degree of inorganic, in fact we avoided having to study organic spiecifically because it has little bearing on mineral exstraction processes. However being part of the Minning Dept at Cardiff most of our practical and field work involved a lot of coal, when the pits were still open. I started my career in SWA on the diamond mines so there was no getting away from carbon in one form or another.

Adam- are the fullerenes counted as one of the structures of graphene. Sheet graphene has a strange structure if I recall correctly, which is similar to that of the nanotubes, in terms of internal bonding. The name graphyne comes to mind as but I can't recall it's relationship with the others, I think it may be a compisite used in saline filtration.

Carbon vs God: Both are transparent and black, strong and weak, and are deadly to humanity dependent on their combination with other elemental substances.

Raised On the Third Day?

i have some potentially controversial questions.. i have always wondered about these things in the back of my mind, but i would immediately dismiss them.

now i am giving myself permission to explore them further.... a lot of attention is given to how big the sacrifice was on the part of jesus and god when jesus laid down his life.

as the story goes, jesus gave his life for our sins and then was miraculously raised back to life a couple of days later.. consider this.

Christ says in Luke 24:44-46 "44. He now said to them: "These are my words which I spoke to youwhile I was yet with you, that all the things written in the law of Moses and in the Prophets and Psalms about me must be fulfilled." 45. Then he opened up their minds fully to graspthe meaning of the Scriptures. 46. and he said to them "In this way it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from amoung the dead on the third day.

Can someone give me the reference to where this prophesy is written in the OT as I can find no reference to it myself? Does this mean that Jesus lied? Or was he referring to some different scriptures to the ones in the OT?

the 2013 edition of the new world translation renders 2 kings 17:1 as:.

in the 12th year of king ahaz of judah, hoshea the son of elah became king over israel in samaria; he ruled for nine years.. this is in fact a better rendering than the previous nwt, which stated:.

in the twelfth year of ahaz the king of judah, hoshea the son of elah became king in samaria over israel for nine years.. despite their improved rendering, the watch tower society still claims that hoshea's reign 'really' began in 758 bce, but that it was 'established' in the 12th year of ahaz.

"You and Jeffro can "huff and puff" about the correct translation of Jeremiah 29:10 but both of you are not Hebrew scholars or Bible translators so your opinion is "ZILCH"".

Have you got some qualifications that make you a Hebrew scholar or any Biblical translation credits in any version? If not evidently your OPINION IS ZILCH as well.

Personnally my qualifications I would defer to Dr. Driver and his rendering of the verse, as it would seam senseble that with his exstensive research and scholarship regarding the preposition "LE" in hebrew his qualifications can not be questioned:-

"For thus saith Yahweh, As soon as seventy years be accomplished FOR BABYLON,".

Am I missing something here ?

in ancient times , o.t.speak, god dealt with humans in a variety of ways , dreams ,visions ,prophets,and prophetesses , then apparently 2000 years ago he must have said, i`m not doing this anymore.they , my followers will just have to beleive and put faith in what has been written down up untill the 20th century of the common era.

approximately 4000 years of human history where god has communicated with humans .

if you beleive that .. their has been no communication between god , with any human , whether by dreams , visions , or prophets , for the past 2000 years.. and may i add, their has been no communication from jesus during these past 2000 years either, giving us enlightend /updates about his sayings /prophecys that he gave while on earth 2000 years ago.. please explain.. smiddy.

TEC- I have ears and eyes and would welcome the oppurtunity to listen to, speak with, and see Jehovah and Jesus, but they like Satan and his demons are afraid to appear for some reason which I can not comprehend, despite repeated requests by my self. Prehaps you can have a quiet word and asked that they appear all appear together and speak to the entire world all at once. Adebate maybe and then we humans may be able to use our freewill to determine who we want to rule our kingdom. I am sure that God and Jesus would find the democratic solution acceptable, and if Satan is defeated in the election God has the power,as he has lead us to believe to destroy him.

I look forward to God's and Jesus' response to my proposal, and if they can not put the question to Satan themselves I am certain that will can find someone who talks to him aswell.

Evidently if they do they don't use them as is made clear in the "Bible really Teach" book pg 219, "Revelation also describes Jesus as the leader of faithful angels." REV 19:14-16.

These heavenly armies are all riding white horses, not an open wing in flight!!

From the Daniel book pg 205 the WT states:

" The apostle John declared that " the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."(1 John 5:19) It is clear that the nations of the world never were and are not now under the guidance or rulership of God or Chirst. While Jehovah permits "the superior authorities" to exits and maintain control of earhtly governmental affairs, he does not appoint his angels over them. (Romans 13:1,7) Any "princes" or "rulers" over them could be placed there only by "the ruler of the world", Satan the Devil. They would have to be demonic rulers rather than angelic guardians. There are then demonic forces, or "princes", behind the visable rulers, and national conflicts involve more than mere humans."

As Michael is refered to as "one of the foremost princes", "the prince of you people", and "the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people" (Dan 10:13,21; 12:1), according to the WT he is a demonic ruler, and if he were also Jesus then Jesus would be a creation of Satan the Devil.

That is WT logic for you!!!!

Why is it that the Judean chronology appears to hinge on the death of Josiah in 609 BCE, and are there any secular bibical links that prevent the movement of this date forward 1 or 2 years, or backwards by up to 8years?

The Jehovahs Judgement link also flags up the question of the invasion of Egypt by the Babylonians, and as this historic event appears to be detailed in both Jeremiah and Ezekiel how does it fit with the redt of these chronologies?
